I'm Chris Alden, writer and publisher of travel and how-to guides.
My most popular book is [=250 Things to Do in Cyprus on a Sunny Day*=] - a travel guidebook that draws on my three years of living in a beautiful village in the Troodos foothills.
I've also recently published [=The Greek Alphabet: 24 Letters in 24 Hours=] - a quick, accessible guide to the modern Greek alphabet.
Aside from Mediterranean travel, my main passions in life are food and drink, walking, music and the arts.
Before I started focusing on books, my writing mainly appeared in UK national newspapers such as the Guardian and the Telegraph, and in UK customer magazines.
