Skate, otherwise known as Katie W Stewart, or just plain 'Kate' (in more ways than one) is an Australian author of Fantasy for all ages. Apart from her husband and three beautiful children, she loves dragons, animals and anything Celtic, including the Celtic harp, which she is teaching herself to play. She works in the library at a local school as well as being an IT assistant. On her days off, she spends her time writing, illustrating and generally avoiding housework.
