I got my latest DXG using a similar eBay seller. Worked for me. All I'd say is to make sure that it's an established seller with a lot of sales and a good rating and you should be fine. It's certainly a lot less hassle than Lou's method (Sorry Lou).

Nothing wrong with eBay, but generally these sellers don't include import duty in the costs and more often than not people have had to foot the bill on receipt in my experience.

If you add in the P&P to their price, plus the duty it works out a lot more expensive unless you are prepared to wait for the slower deliveries.

Just want to say, that the Kindle Paperwhite 3G + Wifi is $179 with Ads or $199 without ads. In the first post, where it was copied it still shows the Wi Fi only amount of $139.

Don't worry about it. Without that post, I would not be posting here and I would had not ordered the Paperwhite today. Clapping hands

BTW, I forgot to mention that I have ordered from the US via Bundlebox several times in the past and their service is excellent and very efficient.

Can you give more info on "step 9", i.e., what happens when BundleBox gets my Kindle? Do they give me a price, I pay, and they ship it... or do I have to fill in all the details like on the price estimate form?

I traded my "2011" in today (CeX are giving £43 cash, plus £10 for the official leather cover -- there may be better trade in prices but I work for CeX, so I didn't even bother to check) and have had to start reading a so-called "paper" book like some sort of caveman. Undecided October can't come quickly enough.

Bundle box will send you an email saying your parcel has arrived along with its dimensions. You just go to the site then, select your customs options and what speed shipping, pay and that's it. Everything can then be tracked online via FedEx.

Hi Lou,
Thanks for the reply. I would be worried about getting hit with a customs charge at some point in the future after buying in good conscience through an eBay seller, so I can see why it is better to do the whole deal yourself - even if some of the Declaration is a little bit grey!
I will bear that in mind when I make my purchase!

How about for ordering the case? Would that come as a combined, larger box, so you'd just get a slightly different set of measurements from bundlebox when amazon deliver?
