book promotion sites in the U.K.

Hi All,

I'm new to this forum, but have been very active on a similar one (Kindle Boards) in the U.S.

My short story, a prologue to my novel, recently became free on Amazon U.K. It's been free on the U.S. site for a few weeks where it's held the top three best seller positions and has had close to 20,000 downloads. These have, in turn, fueled sales of my book. The only way for readers to know about any of this is by promoting the free story's availability, but I am finding very few U.K. blogs or web sites that mention free kindle books.

Is there a link to a list like this that someone can post or can you recommend a few to me? I would be very grateful. Thank you in advance for any advice.

Harriet

Hi Rosen,
I'd love to be included among your indie book bargains, but Lust and Honor is a short story and it seems you only promote full-length free books. Am I wrong?

I'll happily promote a short story - I promoted my own! Please add it using the form in the right hand column of the website.

It is all about the promotion! You have to let people know about your book.

Are there any places that accept eBooks that aren't free? I've spent all evening trawling the net and can only find ones that list free titles Sad
Even Goodreads doesn't seem to be accepting ebooks at the moment.

Are you looking for lists of paid ebooks? If so, I recommend focussing instead on doing some author interviews, getting reviewed by bloggers and networking on forums.
