POP Email on Kindle Fire

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to set up email on the KF with a general email pop address (not a web based email). It has never worked for me, I just thought it was hotwired to US servers and I wondered if anyone has had any progress on this?

Thanks,

Have a look here

Amazon support - Email Pop and IMAP Settings

I'd also use IMAP if you have the option, on all your devices PC, Kindle Fire etc. Pop3 is the old way of doing things and needs more thinking about to keep your mail in sync across multiple devices. With IMAP it keeps a copy on the server which all you clients sync too.
