What I Read

Just picked up my new car this morning.

After retiring our 12 year old Yaris, we've just finally collected our brand new Yaris Hybrid. First impressions have been great - a real fun yet relaxing drive.

Congratulations! I love the smell of a new car.

I got one last year (Citroen 1), and even my husband is impressed by the aggressive snarl when we accelerate in my little pet Big Grin

It's dark grey (called Decuma grey). I'll post a pic when I get the chance.

I'm probably going to get a new car this year. I have an Aygo at the moment and have never "gelled" with it.

Must be that time of year!! Had my (nearly) new VW Scirocco for just a few weeks!!! Sounds like it is the same colour as Lou's too...........metalic dark grey.

2.0 litre turbo diesel and it goes like the proverbial!!! But, because it is "Blue Motion" it does around 70 to the gallon on a run and the road tax is only £30 per year!!!

I've not tried the Aygo but I think the wife has borrowed one while ours was being serviced. What I would have loved would be a GT86, but it's just not practical enough as a main car. Maybe when I'm rich I can have one to myself.

I have had a variety of cars over the last forty odd years, but the Yaris is the best ever. All being well I will be getting a new one next March and looking forward to it. Not sure about a hybrid though. Hope yours treats you well.

Sounds like a nice new toy to play with Lou, and a nice excuse to have a few days out when we get some good dry weather.

After driving old cars for many years, I finally got a lovely little almost new amethyst Ka last October. I can't believe how large it feels inside and is very nippy especially on a long trip. I call it my zippy car, because it zips round everywhere! Smile

I've had my Audi A6 from new... I got it 18 years ago. It has started to get a little temperamental, I may have to join you 'new car' folk soon. Anyone want a near-classic, gentle green giant?
