The Kindle Angels

I have been pulling my hair out for many days now because I couldn’t get my kindle working properly. A lot of good people on the forum gave me their time in an attempt to get things working. I then found the Kindle technical helpline telephone number.

I work as a registered gas engineer fault finding and repairing boilers, this involves talking to technical helpline guys 2 or 3 times a day, sometimes I am put on hold for 20 minuets and 9 times out of 10 it is a premium number.

Now compare this with Kindle,
They phoned me immediately after I emailed my phone number. The lass I spoke to was polite friendly and very professional. She held my hand all the way through the proccess, telling me what button to press etc. A real breath of fresh air. Well done Amazon/Kindle, I think your help line is brilliant.

Great news grampa. We've had many reports about how excellent Amazon's tech support is.

Glad you have things sorted, I have never heard a bad word about customer support. A lot of other companies could learn a lot from them. Smile

must have been awful having a none working Kindle - mine has frozen a couple of times which was bad enough and made me very grumpy.

RE: The Kindle Angels

I know you all feel Amazon support is wonderful but their stock solution is to reset the kindle to factory settings, thus having to re-register it - my view is not meant to upset anyone but i have had to restore to factory settings twice recently because they could not offer any other help. Hmm i feel their software training could be improved. This is my view alone and I am glad that you got your kindle sorted.

When I was on the phone to them some time ago, I asked would my kindle be better on a factory reset and I was told "you really don't want to do that". Perhaps I had a particularly good ca Big Grin
