I cant open my book

I have successfully registered my kindle, I have purchased and downloaded it onto my kindle, I can the title on my kindle screen but when I tap it nothing happens, any ideas folks? thanks

I haven't got a kindle touch, so I can't help here.....
But just a quick note to say that you don't need to buy again any books that you've already bought to read - you can go into the Manage my Kindle - where you registered, and send them to the new kindle.
A second note - don't leave kindle with the the wi-fi switched on when you don't need it ... it flattens the battery quicker than you might expect.

Thanks for that Chris, I was scared to delete it in case I lost it for good. I will delete the copy on my kindle and try downloading again. I will keep you posted
