Yay! You liked it! I cannot tell you how many times, during the course of writing this book, I thought "I hope Joo likes it"! Phew! I can breathe a sigh of relief now (despite your teasing!)
Thank you for the review and for posting it on .com and .co.uk.
I can assure you that none of the characters are based on anybody in particular, except Dee, who's based on aspects of me.

Aw, there's sweet, thanks Rosen.

So who was the David Wailing character based on?

That wasn't a character, that was a cameo!

Thank you very much Syd. I'm glad you enjoyed it. On more than one occasion I've found myself thinking "I hope Syd us enjoying Pompomberry House".

I'm at the beach at the moment. Will write more later.

Have any of the people who've reviewed Pompomberry House got degrees in English Literature of Creative Writing please? I was hoping to submit it to http://awesomeindies.wordpress.com and I need to meet certain criteria, for example a decent review from somebody with one of those credentials.

Apparently a comprehensive, positive review from Willie Wit would do it, as he's already listed on Awesome Indies, but although he kindly favourably reviewed one of my books, it wasn't this one.

Also, a review by an author or editor who is or has been employed in that capacity by a publishing house that isn’t their own, would count.
