I have no updates therefore it's not listed, or
They've stopped doing it.

Can someone have a look and report back if they have this option, ta.

RE: Getting Updated Books

Perhaps we should have a thread on here for authors to post if they have updated their book. Obviously it won't be a well populated thread as everybody's book is marvellously published Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin, but people can also post if they spot an update on their Amazon MYK

RE: Getting Updated Books

I'd be curious to know how this actually works.

Uploading a new version of a book is very easy for an author to do in their author dashboard bit.

However, to actually make it count as an update is a different process. There is a section in there that talks about it taking several weeks to go through.

I wonder which one gives the notification.
My books are available for sale on Amazon and Smashwords.  You will also find them on Fenopy, H33t and Extreme Torrent.

I am in the process of reformatting for KF8, so owners of the newer Kindles can change fonts and font size - I've done four out of six books so far. My formatting was fine for the Kindles around at the time. It's quite a lot of work, but necessary.

I've just told Amazon about the first one, and they say notification will go through in about four weeks, either as an option in the reader's book list on Manage my Kindle, or they will email purchasers if they consider the changes major enough.

You wait a long time then they'll all come together, like buses...

I've reformatted all but one of my books now. It's time-consuming but rewarding, getting that HTML into line.

Cool

I think I've never quite got over a literary agent trifling with me over Trav Zander - falling in and out of love with the book over the course of six and a half days. I thought, right, I'll write something contemporary and popular, and I wrote Remix.

Still couldn't get an agent. Luckily, I no longer want one.Tongue
