New author says hello

Hi everyone,

I've just posted my first novel Funnybone onto Amazon Kindle. It's the spoof memoir of an old music hall star who first appeared in a sitcom I wrote which was broadcast on BBC Radio 4. I am a former newspaper sub-editor from Bolton who is now a full-time writer. There are more details on my website http://www.johngradwell.com
I'm looking forward to joining the various discussions.

Hi John, welcome to the forum.

I work for an author based in Bolton too! Will Hadcroft, is there something in the water over there? Smile

All the best with your book.

Hi John and welcome to the Forum Hello I've corrected your book title so that it links to Amazon now - you need to put the [square brackets] around the =.

Hope you will join in wherever you feel like it.

Hi John,
Welcome to the forum and good look with the book. Coming from Staffordshire, I've never lived in Bolton, but because my first wife came from Wigan I often frequented the pubs and clubs around Atherton.

Hi John,

Welcome. I hope things go well for your book; the character of an old music hall star sounds intriguing. And since you've already written him, I suppose it was like putting on an old pair of comfy slippers.
