Hello I purchased a kindle fire in the US and I am now back in th UK I have heard rumers about the APP store coming to the UK/Europe at the moment as you are probably aware it is not possible to download apps from the US store due to global location ....when the app store finally arrives in the Uk will my device only require an update to access the store or will it be more complicated than this. ????? RE: kindle fire apps UKSorry you didn't get an answer sooner - your post wasn't quite in the right forum section so I have moved it. Nobody knows for certain yet, but if the Kindle Fire account situation is the same as the Kindle, then it should just be a case of linking your Kindle Fire to your UK account instead of US, and everything should then work automatically. Barnacle Boy! We have to find those stolen Naggy Daddies!

RE: kindle fire apps UKI have bought a KF from the US for a friend as a gift. I wanted to upload a few books I have on my amazon account to get her started, but after I have done that and deregistered from my account, the books disappear. This is not a problem on a normal kindle and I wondered if there is a way round this? Thanks for any help offered.
