I have just been given a kindle touch , prior to this i had a bog standard e-reader , is it possible to transfer my books that i downloaded from kobo etc to my touch? or am i restricted to just ordering books via amazon? thanks

RE: transfering booksIf they do NOT have DRM, then you can use a piece of software called Calibre, which you download onto your PC, to convert them from '.epub' (for "other" readers) to '.mobi' (for Kindle). (If they *do* have DRM, you can actually still do this, but it is not legal and it is a bit more difficult.) |
