This is something I've been putting off doing.
I applied for a letter from Smashwords some time ago and as yet havent recieved anything. Now I cant remember why that letter was important. Sigh. Better get reading your blog posts.

I applied for an EIN last week using Amazon's online guide - found it all quite straightforward. They quoted me a number over the phone, though it hasn't actually come in the post yet.

Am I correct to assume that there's no obligation to fill out a US tax return?
