What I Read

RE: Anyone for Tennis?

A lurker here!
I'm pretty neutral on the tennis but caught a little of the final near the end.
In my opinion, Federer looked like a champion - cool, calm, collected, whilst Murry looked like a sweaty, sulky, bad-tempered school boy. Purely in terms of aesthetics - the best player won.

The thing is, Federer always looks cool, calm & collected and even James Bond would look a bit sweaty and flustered next to him.....

At least Murray played well, pity it wasn't to be but Federer was the better player.

RE: Anyone for Tennis?

I'm a Scot, and not really into tennis, but I watched most of the final. I thought Murray played very very well against the much more experienced Federer. Murray certainly made Federer work had for his victory, but in the end, the better man one. Murray deserved to make the final, and he also deserves the respect of the nation for going farther than many a Brit before him.
