It's a stock photo of the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City. Since my book is a true, organized crime story that is largely set in Brooklyn I wanted something evocative of that sort of seedy underbelly world. The trash cans, the ad for "prime" office space, the shadows.

I had a professional design it and he sent me 4 or 5 photos to choose from and I loved this one the instant I saw it.
