Has that expectation really gone away Lexi? It could be just me but I definitely felt that same pressure in some of my jobs - most particularly when I was the Executive Secretary to a large steel fabrication company with an all male staff except for myself.

No doubt it does linger here and there. Though it's probably balanced out by the occasions when it's an advantage to be a woman in a masculine sphere, something I've experienced. (I said this once to a Guardian reporter, and it wasn't what she wanted to hear at all.)
