Hi

My new novel Double Bind is a psychological thriller.

It's published on Kindle for the first time today.

This is the cover:

And this is the back cover:

Identity is precious.

What if you saw someone just like you with the one you love? Not just like you. Someone who is you.

What if they don't recognize you?

What if, when you look in the mirror, you don't recognize yourself?

What would you do to uncover the truth?

Successful writer Raymond Bridges must unravel a mystery that goes to the heart of his being and raises irresolvable doubts about his identity.

A quest that leads him to question so much of what he finds in the world around him – even Victoria’s love.

69,000 words, about 260 print pages.

Hope you enjoy it if you get the chance to check it out from the link in the signature line.

Best wishes

What I Read

RE: New Thriller - Seb Kirby - Double Bind

Hi

Here's an Author's Note that I recently published:

Doppelganger: a ghostly counterpart of a living person.

My debut thriller Take No More has been well received and I'd been planning a follow up, provisionally and unsurprisingly titled Take No More 2. But before I did that I wanted to write something that could talk about the way we're letting the planet slide into destruction, about the way we're letting self interest blind us to what's happening. An idea I had to base this on a doppelganger theme seemed to fit the bill, and so now, here is Double Bind.

It's a psychological thriller with sci-fi overtones. But it's firmly based in relationships and still has a crime / mystery element.

What's next? The work on Take No More 2 is now underway and I'm hoping to be able to publish this by the end of the year.

Best wishes
