It is never too late for any book club decision.
Please put a bowl of water out for hedgehogs and other night-time visitors, you might just save their life.
While you are at it, feed the birds too. Thumbs Up And come and talk about it at Garden Wildlife Forum

But now I´ve ´already´ bought "In the blood" so I can rush through that one - and move on to the second if I like what I get. So perhaps I´ll get there before it´s too late (for the book club - I suppose it´s never too late from Steve´s point of view) Whistle

It's not necessary to read In the Blood first (although it's useful to get to know JT). The discussion thread will stay open indefinitely, so join in when you have finished To the Grave (which in most people's view is the best). There is also a discussion thread for In the Blood, which we discussed in December.

Thank you, but I like reading series in order when it´s possible. Besides, the first one is also cheaper from Amazon.com - yet another reason to begin there Wink
