I see he has an evil temperament - that means he's good with children, right?

WAIT A MINUTE - six bids since I last checked.

He's fine with children. He is after all, made of clay. Unless, he comes alive at night...

RE: Genuine Pompomberry House Clay Seagull Charity Auction

I was looking at my emails and saw the one that says auction ending soon. I had it in my head it was finishing at about 1:15. I clicked on the link and work had blocked it. So I went via ebay and did a search and got to it. It said 1 minute 10 seconds left. I quickly put in £15 and it did nothing, so I went back and tried again and put my password in, the time, tick tick ticking away. I was outbid and it was less than 10 seconds, so I upped it a pound and wasn't sure I had enough time as I'm sure I saw it at 4 seconds. Confusion reigned then I saw "you have won".
So I went to paypal and that was playing up. It said I was logged in, but wanted me to log in.
Then I was kicked out of ebay and was typing in my email address instead of user name, so that was a kerfuffle too.

Anyway, in summary IT IS MINE Big GrinBig GrinBig GrinBig Grin

Well bought, Joo!
Glad to hear Bumpy is going to a good home. I suggest you ask Rosen to sign him. He'll be worth a fortune when Rosen is an acclaimed writer with a world-wide reputation - and at her present rate of progress that will be before the end of next month.

I had no idea that the path to wining him was so fraught! Very exciting!
I look forward to seeing a picture of him in his new home.
It would have been somewhat hard to sign a clay seagull - he is very tiny and his surface is very porous. (Forgot to tell you - do not get him wet - he's made from the sort of clay that air dries.)

Worldwide recognition is scheduled for September. ;-)
