Kindle books more expensive than print books?

I´d never pay more for an ebook than a paper book either, but Danish customers have to buy ebooks via Amazon.com, and they don´t only add Danish VAT (25 %), they also add a huge fee most of the time, meaning that a three-dollar book costs more than five. So what they mean by "free international wireless delivery" is that they have already added a fat fee. Confused
