Hi
Is it possible to have 1 account but to keep the books seperate,
My wife has just bought a kindle and i already have one but our book choices are completly different ,what would be the easiest way to manage them 2 accounts on amazon or can it be done with one also although not really part of this forum but would it effect my calibre setup for managing the books with just one account
thanks

RE: accounts

You can easily manage yours and your wife's books with one account and it's far better to have just the one, just in case you ever do want to read the other's books.

When your wife downloads a book, she should select her user name in the Deliver To One-Click list and these books will be downloaded to her Kindle, but will only be stored on your archive (unless you specifically choose to read one of them) and vice versa.

I know very little about Calibre so can't answer that part.

RE: accounts

No problem to having two Kindles registered to the same Amazon account mazelda. As Susanne says you just select which Kindle you want the book to go to when you purchase a book. Afraid I don't know anything about Calibre, so can't help you there. Smile

I have 4 kindles on my account with no problems. I also use calibre for my non amazon e-books on several of the kindles and it works fine as well
