Collections help.

Sadly, I've downloaded all sorts of freebies and full price stuff and was wondering how people arrange their collections given that you don't appear to be able to have sub-collections. Any suggestions gladly read.

What I Read

RE: Collections help.

This post was last modified: 15 Jun 2012 10:40 AM by daveb.
I have collections as follows:

Currently Reading - usually just 1 or 2 books currently on the go
To Be Read Next - usually less than 5 books as my top priority for my next book to read
To Be Read Sometime - 50+ books that I might get around to
Read - all books that I have read that have escaped The Dungeon
The Dungeon - Books that I have read or part-read and found to be, er, crap (IMHO)
Odds & Ends - odments e.g. a book of lymerics or a list of famous whisky etc etc
Reference - Books of refernce, a guide to Facebook, travel guide etc

That's me Smile

I never have a book in more than one category at a time but I must say that the continuous checking & unchecking in & out of the various categories in a pain in the proverbial. Surely sub categories shouldn't present much of an O/S change .... it's only meta tags! The Kindle is a great reader except for this aspect. My old 1995 Sinclair organizer had a more feature rich O/S Sad

What I Read

RE: Collections help.

Mine are:
Current Books (I try to keep it to less than 5 in there)
Books I have Finished
Next to Read (KUF authors and favourite authors)
Free books (free non-KUF books)
Shorts
Childrens
Classics
Chick Lit
Documents & Info & Holidays & Manuals
Reference & Guides
and lastly "Unfinished" Which is now going to be renamed The Dungeon Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin

I don't need them to be in multiple categories as once it's read, it's read.
