Best of luck, Dorte.Wine1

Hehe. I love puns, but not financiers, so when I get round to the sequel, I´ll probably stick to my idea of a Halloween mystery Smile

I have a more serious Scandinavian mystery to translate first, and that one may be easier to market in the UK.

But right now I´m not going to whine because of my slow progress in the UK. "The Cosy Knave" has done brilliantly in the US this weekend. Right now it is no 5,869 in the Kindle store Groovy

HUGE DISCOUNT Groovy

Latest Murder deLight news - now that it is possible for me to set different prices in the UK and the USA, I have decided to celebrate the relaunch (read: ensnare more readers) by having a huge discount throughout June. Shocked

£ 0.77 only - for a full-length novel.

RE: Murder deLight

I promised Jennie Lee to keep her posted so here we go:

YES, the new title, the relaunch (and the lower price) have had some effect. From selling practically nothing I now sell a few books per week.

BUT, it does not seem to be a miracle cure. I have still not got to the point where the book enters the readers-who-bought-this-book feature.

Keeping my fingers crossed for a tiny micacle in the course of the next ten days.

Thank you, Susanne. This week has begun really well (which means more than one book per day, but for someone who sold TWO copies in April that´s a huge step forward) Wink

What I Read

RE: Murder deLight

Summing up the first month after my relaunch:

Sales = 27. Not exactly a bestseller, but quite a lot better than before (1-2 sales per month since January).

Furthermore, "customers who also bought.." now shows 6 pages.

Conclusion: it is probably better to stick to the low price for the time being.

"Murder deLight" is jogging along quietly, but steadily. 26 sales in July which is nothing compared to my US sales, but still far better than two per month. And the first days of August have been better so perhaps...
