Do you plan to root and install new custom OS?

I bought my KF about 1 week ago.

Being in the UK I knew that the kindle was not fully functional and decided to buy one anyway from ebay.

It arrived and I am very impressed with the tablet, however, I think the software was less than impressive.

I also considered that I didnt want to wait for the amazon app store and access to video (netflix, love film), apps (google, lots others) music (can get from amazon via an app), books (kindle apps) etc than I can get from everywhere else.

In the end I have rooted my KF and installed a custom ICS9 ROM which worls perfectly.

I now have all the apps I wanted and more besides from the google play store.

So does anyone else plan to root and hack there's?

TBH, I've found that it does most of what I want without rooting it. It would be nice to have some more apps, but, for the amount I'm using it (I have an iPad too) I don't know if I can be bothered with the hassle.
