Changed router

Hi
I recently had to change my router and now my Kindle won't connect saying I'm entering the wrong password. I went through the restart procedure where it asked for a password. I entered what I think it is and it accepted it. So I've got one part of the Kindleseemingly saying my password is Ok and another not! So what do I do next?

If I try the 'set up network' option most options are greyed out but do I select DHCP or Static and for 'Security Type' none, WEP, WPA or WPA2.

I should add that I can still see all my books but just can't connect to my network.

with my sky router - my password is in upper case letters, don't know if that helps.

If your Kindle can 'see' the wireless network then you don't need to bother with those manual settings on the Kindle.

It just sounds like you are entering the password incorrectly, something which is very easy to do in a Kindle.

Can your PCs or other devices connect to the router ok?

Thanks for your very swift reply.

In the mean time I'd tried every password I could think of. It turned out to be an ID number and not anything I'd entered as a password.

So all's well now. Thanks for your help.
