What I Read

screen savers

Hi everyone, what I would like on my kindle is
The covers from the books I am reading as a screen saver
I think that would look better than pens and pencils.
They are boring.

Great idea! I'm still on Kindle Keyboard 3 so it's pics of authors. Most are fine but Harriet Becher Stowe could put you off the best of books including hers!

RE: screen savers

Does e-ink even need screensavers? I'd like the option for it to stay on the current book's current page when it turns off, maybe just a little icon in a corner to tell you that it is off. If you are not viewing a book, then show the screensaver images.

RE: screen savers

Well, years have gone by since this topic first appeared and still I wish I could see the cover of the book I'm currently reading as my screen saver.

Everything else about the Kindle device is great, and the recent 2019 software update (e.g. adding a click to every page; new home page etc.) is brilliant.

I'd love this too. I do miss book covers I have to say although I wouldn't go back from having my Kindle for anything, I love it!
