USB Drive Mode
If I eject nothing happens, I have tried hard and soft resrts and re-booting and everything as per the Amazon techie place.
Am I doing something wrong? Any ideas?

How are you ejecting your Kindle?Method varies slightly whichever version of windows you are using (presuming Windows of course). I do it by going to the 'computer' tab in my start menu, it shows the Kindle as a drive, right click on the Kindle Icon and eject. I have Windows 7 and this method works for me. It is a similar method for any windows computer. Any other operating system (Linux, etc) I haven't a clue. |
RE: USB Drive ModeI have no problem ejecting drives from the laptop, but the USB Drive Mode on my Kindle 3 does not stop. If I want to charge it while reading I have to use the mains plug. |
