Questions about using a kindle fire in the UK

1. Will I be able to read my current books from my Amazon UK account on it? Yes this works no problem, as long as you link your email address/amazon account to it, you can send them to your Kindle via Manage your Kindle on the website.

Any other thoughts about it? - If you want a cut price tablet, that's probably better than some in the market (in this KF owners opinion) without going ott with price for an iPad, then I'd suggest it wholeheartedly, the app store when its available will be a real shot in the arm for it

What I really would like would be a full colour Kindle with a touch screen. Is that Kindle touch? Kindle touch is the touch screen kindle for books only yes

Update. Is the Kindle Fire more of a tablet than an ebook reader? Just watched a review on youtube and the reviewer never once show books on it. - Yes its a tablet, you can use it to browse the web, pictures, use it for Netflix, email, video, youtube, iplayer, gaming, everything. I think the fact that it has ebooks is a bonus, but I tend to use it more for all of the above. Its great for comic book reading
