"I have read all of Mary Fitzgerald's novels now, and finished this one, her latest, this morning. I think that it is one of her best novels. Doesn't quite knock Richard Wilde off the number one spot, but it is a very close runner. I'm not sure how to describe it - it's a love story but not romance; there are darker themes and menace running through the tale, but it is beautifully written. I loved it and it's one that I will definately read again. I can whole-heartedly recommend this. "

The price is £2.49. I think that there would be a lot to discuss in this.

Tell us the title please Kew!

Duh! I've been off line for a while and didn't realise I'd forgotten to mention the small detail of title....Omg

I'd like to put forward A Girl called Barney.............its a really good story. It took me by surprise as its not what I thought it would be, its a story not a biography, really amazing, a brother takes on his dead sisters child who [he later finds out] has special needs, its a loving, really gripping read

Death in Flitbury Marsh by Linda Gruchy.

Unless Linda says it won't be out for a while, then this would be a great book club choice. Thumbs Up

And I've no idea how much it will cost Tongue

Well, Linda better hurry up then as we will need to be able to read it during May if it is chosen.

Edit: I'm waiting for Linda to get back to me on publication date. If the book is ready by 1 May, then we have our 10. I'll keep you posted.

Death in Flitbury Marshes is now published.
