3G Around the World

I hope this is useful to some folks. I've just been around the world with my Kindle 3 3G and got a usable 3G signal in..

France
Belgium
Germany
Poland
Belarus
Russia (all the way across including Siberia)
South Korea
USA

I didn't download any books whilst away but could tweet and facebook

Just saw the question. As I only download books I don't see the limit anyway. I tried the web browser once when I first got the Kindle and it was so bad that I've never tried it again. Not a great loss for me as I usually have a laptop with me on holiday.

I am in Fethiye Turkey and was getting 3G, but when our internet went up the spout last thursday I turned to my Kindle for internet and must have exceeded my limit, because I can only get Wi-Fi tonight, thankfully the internet is now working. So I hope my 3G will be reinstated soon. VERY handy, love it.

You can add Portugal, bought my kk3 a couple of years ago at the airport and spent my entire holiday downloading and surfing. how sad
