I've tried three cases and the best, by far, is Amazon's own Kindle lighted leather case. It's well worth the money because it's tidy, light and powers off your Kindle so you don't need to worry about additional batteries. I have it in wine.

.... or you could buy a standard case (there are many more to choose from that 'lighted' cases) and buy a separate clip on light (again there are quite a few of these to choose from). Neither do you need to stick to a Kindle specific light .... most book & map reading lights will do the trick as long as they can clip on effectively.

You pays your money you takes your choice. My kindle cover cost £7.99 + postage supplied by an Amazon associate company and I'm perfectly happy with it. It's not leather but it's none the lesser for that. Don't just look at the Amazon Kindle 4 Case selection try googling it ... for some reason this brings up many more independent makes of kindle cases selling on Amazon.
