Me too - I've wanted to read this book since it came out. Smile

I see from the blurb that it is a follow on to The Line of Beauty, which i haven't read yet - does anyone know if this is going to make sense as a standalone, or should i make the effort to read the first book first.

Some great books! But they're undercutting indie authors at that price! Just wondering what the author ebook royalty looks like once it's been through their publisher at that kind of discount?

I haven't read Line of Beauty and didn't have a problem following The Stranger's Child - apart from the fact that I gave up about a third into the book - maybe I was just not in the mood for that type of book. Well written, just couldn't get into it.

Thanks Susanne! Haven't tried it yet and it keeps moving further down the TBR pile the more I click
