4th Kindle won't connect!

Hello everyone,I hope you can help me as my poor other half is just about tearing his hair out!
This is the 4th Kindle I have had.The first 2 (my children's)connected to wifi with no problem and are working fine.
The 3rd (supposed to be for me)could not be connected to the wifi and we were given an exchange by customer services.
The 4th has the same problem.
Assuming that all the relevant details have been entered correctly can you suggest why it won't connect.We just keep getting the 'Cannot connect to wifi' message,with no info about why or what to do.

My husband solved the problem
It seems that the Kindle didn't like our DNS server.My husband says he pointed the Kindle at the router instead as this can also work as a DNS server,and now everything is fine.

I found with my Kindle (Kindle 3 Keyboard) that I was not able to connect to a router that had a space in SSID name. eg 'ROBROUTER' would connect but 'ROB ROUTER' would not.
I realise you have connected two other Kindles, nut wondered if this may be a Kindle version or firmware version thing.

What kindle do you have, is it the same model as the first two and who is your ISP?

hi have you tried changing the router channel
if you have an android phone get wifi analyser from market and see what channels your neighbours are on. if yours is overapping this could cause problems and you can change your channel outside the range of others via your web browser type this
