Hi,

I am looking at getting a kindle fire. I have researched as much as I can but can't seem to find an answer to my question Smile

Can you upload your own videos:movies and watch them on the fire?

I normally do it on my iPhone and would like the same

Yes you can, though you do need to have them in the correct format. i've done it, but can't remember which format - but the detail is out there.
The "Gallery" app (included) allows you to see not only your own photos but also to watch your own videos. I used a converter to convert from my camera format to the appropriate one and needed a bit of trial and error to get the size right - and one day I'll find where I noted it all down!

If you're watching movies on iPhone, then they're almost certainly in the right format already - mp4 files (mpeg 4) which is also supported by the fire.
