I haven't tried it myself yet but if you use Calibre to manage your books, there is an option in the Settings to insert metadata at the start of the book. So if you add the book description in Calibre and then 'convert' the book (not really convert because you are just doing it to the same format - .mobi to .mobi) it means you should then have the description at the start of the book.

I'll need to try it, because a bad memory is exactly why I'd like the description there too Blush

That's a good idea, I_macd. I'll give that a try.

I use Calibre and find it a really useful tool. I haven't tried to read MS Word docs, or .pdf's or anything fancy, just your plain old novel.

I'm rather glad I didn't get the 3g version though - having to either use wifi or the cable option has really meant that I haven't spent loads of money on books.
