I know that the UK release could be just around the corner, but I had an unexpected gift of some Amazon.com vouchers, so I just couldn't resist. Fingers crossed, it should be here by Friday / Monday. KINDLE FIRE TIPAs you all know the ON/OFF button is at the bottom of the unit when looking at it PORTRAIT view. The button can be quite sensitive and chance glance can switch the Fire to stand by mode. Kindle to the rescue - As KF can be viewed PORTRAITor LANDSCAPE or PORTRAIT or LANDSCAPE by turning extra times. Ensure the button now sits at the TOP. You can now hold or rest the unit without the problem of shut down to stand by. UNFORTUNATELY - when you reboot - the button is at the bottom again. This tip works for me though, saves alot of 'tuts' and worse. Instagram - Polishing turds since 2010
