Run and hide!

Party on a tropical beach, where drugs have milk splashed over them and are consumed for breakfast. Everyone is pure and happy. Booze is gulped down as naturally as the warm air is inhaled.
But this Paradise cannot last. A return to England is inevitable.

Run and hide!

Work in an inn on Exmoor, saving money for the next escape. A surreal bunch of characters inhabit the lawless moors, creating a curious retreat. Could this be life's quicksand?

As Will looks back over his shoulder at the commercialism and flowing grey cement that oozes over the world, he inadvertently crashes into a brick wall of life.
Will he lie down in a concussed state of limbo, or will he stand up and fight?

Whatever his outcome, every life changing path is seen through a hazy cloud of smoke.

Whenever I board a plane I always come to terms with the fact that I might die. I look at my life and ask the question: Is there anything more that I could have done? The answer is yes, and inevitably always will be.

I sit in the aeroplane seat looking out of the window at the dull orange clouds below us. They are floating lampshades concealing dim light bulbs, soon to go pop. The sky above the clouds is a clear and peaceful blue – uncomplicated - unnatural. I’m still drowsy from the Valium I dropped sixteen hours ago. That Valium almost cost me my connection in Dubai. Or maybe I’m drowsy from the large measures of Bacardi that were pumped into me by the camp male flight attendant. Fuck knows. I’m still on the mezzanine between dreams and reality. Even if I wasn’t on this plane my head would still be up here above the clouds. I press play on my iPod - Jefferson Airplanes White Rabbit unravels in my ears.
