What I Read

RE: American TV Shows

Loving series 4 of Devious Maids
It might look like a girly programme, but hubby laughs out loud more than I do.
It's cheesy, bright, snarky, over the top, with some fantastic one-liners and it certainly doesn't take itself too seriously. For me it is a joy to watch.
Hedgehogs are waking up now, so put some water and seeds out for them, they'll reward you with a calling card.
While you are at it, water and feed the birds too. Thumbs Up And come and talk about it at GardenWildlifeUK

I'm watching Cosmos at the moment, and it's a fantastic view of the universe and our place in it.

Miles behind the times, I know, but we started on Breaking Bad last night and really enjoyed it. Might watch a bit more tonight.

We binged Breaking Bad. I don't think it was the best show ever, but it was enjoyable enough, even if the characters were so unlikeable.

Another couple last night - great stuff!

I've got my eye on Sense8 on Netflix too. Anyone watched that?

Been bingeing Continuum on Netflix. Rattled through season 1 and now well into season 2. It's Canadian rather than American, so the seasons are shorter (but not as short as ours).

RE: American TV Shows

Just watched first episode of Westworld. I'm not into the western genre at all, but this was quite intriguing.

I was recommended the latest series of American Horror Story but the first episode did nothing for me.
We also watched the first episode of Hunters but that wasn't to our taste.
Hubby watched a few episodes of Hooten and the Lady but that didn't have much to keep us wanting to watch some more.

Is Westworld anything to do with the movie? I remember really enjoying it about 100 years ago.
