I didn't vote for the cover as although it might initially grab my attention better than another book, it has no bearing on whether I'd buy it or not. Like the author, blurb and in a genre I normally read are probably the biggest factors. Recommendations would be in there too, but I'd still have to read the blurb before deciding whether or not to click the buy button.

RE: 10 Reasons to buy a book (US results are in!)Advertising doesn't seem to affect me although I find this hard to believe. Also I listen to fourm buzz and reviews. Again I don't seem to be too bothered by genre. Oh well. Happy Reader |
