Just finished Gray Justice by Alan McDermott
Absolutely brilliant book. Can't recommend enough. Best book I have read in ages.

A freebie yesterday and a shortish book, but it was enjoyable. I also learnt one or two tricks for when it's time to renew my insurance next month Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin
Please put a bowl of water out for hedgehogs and other night-time visitors, you might just save their life.  
While you are at it, feed the birds too. Thumbs Up And come and talk about it at Garden Wildlife Forum

Roller Coasters, Flumes and Flying Saucers by Robert Reynolds

It's the story of Ed Morgan and Karl Bacon who are the ride inventors of the modern amusement parks.
They started off with Walt Disney in his parks and invented the Corkscrew, just because they wanted to.
It's set out almost as if it's the commentary on a dvd where they are in conversation with each other and there are anecdotes and photos.
A very enjoyable read.
Please put a bowl of water out for hedgehogs and other night-time visitors, you might just save their life.
