RE: Handy Hints for Newcomers

You want to find out about free books?

Then you need to sign up for the daily email from http://www.ereaderiq.co.uk and go through it every day. They are often only free for one day, so grab them while you can.

Or, of course, there's the KUF list http://www.kuforum.co.uk/free_ebooks/latest/

I ususally mean to look at the KUF list first, but when an email pops into my box, I rush to read it.

For newcomers to KUF another feature of the forum is the KUF Book Recommendations.

Its well worth checking out if your wondering what to read next and of course you can also add your own recommendation to the list.

You can get the the Ebook Recommendations via the Main Menu

If you are wondering which Kindle to get, or are waiting for one to arrive or even just wondering about Kindles, you don't have to wait for your Kindle to start buying books.

Get Kindle for your PC (or phone), then you will have a Kindle account and can start "buying" books and getting the freebies before they revert to paid or the prices go up.

Then when you get your Kindle proper, you can just download them to there and away you go.
