Your Chistmas Meal?????

As many of you know, I have Spanish Residencia, and love all things Spanish (Iberian and South American)

So, the main Christmas Meal is for LA NOCHE BUENA (Christmas Eve)

However..... Add your Christmas menu for all of us to persuse.

Ours (On Christmas Day) based on Rick Stein's Spanish Christmas on Iplayer

1.Mussels in their Shells with Mojo Rojo and Lime with shards of Iberico Ham and Pickled Garlic

2. Caldo (Broth) of Beef, Pork, Rabbit, Goat and Veg

3. Slowwwwwwww Roasted Lamb studded with Rosemary & Anchovies
Papas Arugadas, and Roasted Veggies

4. Savilla/ Valencia Orange Caramel (similar to creme caramel, but with Orange Juice instead of Milk - Yummy

5. Coffee & Touron various etc

Lashings of Cava

RE: Your Chistmas Meal?????

I get to cook Christmas lunch every other year - as a vegetarian a turkey dinner is just veg and gravy for me - so nothing really special so when it's my turn I cook my favourite food - Mexican! So for tomorrow's lunch we are having:

Peanut soup, followed Quesidilla Casserole (spicy beans and cheese and tortilla chips in layers), rice with onions and tomatoes and veggie chilli. Pineapple soaked in brandy for dessert (not sure if that's actually mexican but it's better than Christmas pudding).
