Amazon Warehouse

Don't know if this is widely known... i only noticed it today, but Amazon sells off it's returns and refurbs. Including Kindles.

Not sure how often, or how many they get.
There are other things on there too, electronics, shoes etc but as this is the Kindle bit ... Smile

RE: Amazon Warehouse

Thanks for that Thumbs Up I've just emailed the link to a mate who is after a Kindle Keyboard Wifi.

They only have one at the moment but worth keeping an eye on as it gets nearer to Christmas.

RE: Amazon Warehouse

I bought a refurbed Kindle from Amazon Warehouse, unfortunately there was a reason it had been returned, there were several lines of faulty pixels on the screen. It wasn't really usable and I was surprised they thought they could resell it, despite it being in physically pristine condition.

But a quick call to Amazon resulted in an overnight replacement. Whether this was a refurb or not, I have no idea, but I do seem to have acquired a very nice, probably new, Kindle keyboard at a substantial discount. The returns process was simplicity itself and cost me nothing. (Prepaid return)

I've only returned 2 things to Amazon in over 13 years. Their attitude to customers seems to me to be far more respectful than many retailers, who would normally require proof up front before replacing a purchase. I like being treated like an honest adult, I am one, and I guess that's why I buy so much stuff from them. Their staff behave like real people too.

Enough of the fawning.

RE: Amazon Warehouse

Amazon's customer service is certainly something to crow about Smile
They have always exchanged/replaced, taken returns with no grumbling EVER. We have returned a fair few more than 2 items too Smile
I always give Amazon good feedback to other people, and I don't work for them Smile
