Important - Changes to the PR Forum

To help improve things for both authors and readers, we have now introduced genre categories in the PR section.

This will allow readers to easily find books / authors that interest them and so increase the effectiveness of your PR.

All authors are allowed to create brand new PR threads in the category most appropriate for your book. The rule of one thread per book does still apply in the categories, so please ensure you choose only the most appropriate genre.

All the old PR posts are now in the Archive category and are still visible, but you cannot post anything new in there. Over time we will remove the oldest posts in the Archive periodically.

Best wishes,

Lou and the KUF Staff

RE: Important - Changes to the PR Forum

I suppose if the author starts a new thread it would be a good idea to link back to the old one in the archive section.

Not really, because I think the archive ones should be deleted over time.

RE: Important - Changes to the PR Forum

Authors - if you are going to copy and paste your old thread, make sure the links still work as KUF shortens websites to look nice on the page and therefore this doesn't cut'n'paste very well.

From my perspective I'd say Remix is Crime and Replica Sci-Fi or perhaps Action / Adventure

I say, when pushed, that Remix is Mystery/Romance and Replica is Thriller/Romance - but this does annoy the odd keen thriller, mystery or romance reader who wants something more in the genre. And I can't think a Sci-Fi enthusiast would think much of Replica.

I know - can I put them under General Fiction?

You may be suprised here - sure it's not hardcore like Philip K Dick or Asimov but I would still say it has the essentials for the genre ** Spoiler (click) **cloning, men in black, government plots
