Question Amazon Kindle Tablet to be announced on Wednesday 28th September

In an article posted by the Guardian is news that Amazon will be holding a press conference in NY on Wednesday 28th September 2001 where they will finally announce the long awaited Kindle Tablet.

This week Amazon opened the doors to their Appstore internationally indicating an imminent release of the tablet, hopefully as a global launch (or at least UK please).

If all goes to plan, the new Kindle Tablet could make a serious impact on the tablet market and capture some lost ground from the iPad. It is also going to be very interesting to finally see the specs of the new device and how it may compare to specs hinted at in the various rumours.

One thing's for sure, Wednesday is going to be very interesting.

Looks like it is all starting to hot up now. It can only be good news for consumers, as long as we are treated as at least equal to those in the USA.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Touches NoseWhistle A Little Bird told me that a prescripton was over £7, but a New 7" Tablet may be around £165 - £200 depending on model. A Bigger one to swallow in 2012 would be around Double.

These were based around $ prices, supposedly leaked prior to KINDLE TABLET DAY this Wednesday in New York
