Morning Cecilia, can you give us any clues as to what Song Of Vanora is about? Love the title.

A mystery novel set in the 50's is right up my street too & I'm intrigued By the title on this one 'The lion & the Unicorn Quest'.

Hi Kaska - Song of Vanora is a sort of historical novel. The reason I say 'sort of' is because there are elements of time travel in it and a sideways look at the Arthurian legend - Vanora is a variation on 'Guinevere' and there is a legend that Guinevere was kept prisoner by Mordred at a place near Alyth on the Angus-Perthshire borders. It's very close to where one branch of my family comes from and so I had already done quite a bit of research on the background before I even thought of writing the novel.
The main thing missing now is a map. If I can work out how to do it with my primitive drawing skills I can then publish!
