Quick Kindle 3g Review

Well its here and I'm a happy bunny.

Its early days but here are some of my first impressions.

The Kindle 3 works well out of the box and looks fantastic. Its light as a feather and feels really good in your hand. The screen refresh is amazingly fast in comparison to my old Sony PRS600 and the improved constrast is excellent.

Menu's are easy to navigate though not very pretty. The keyboard is responsive though a little low down in order to type without resting it on something.

Here are a couple of quick photo's to show the awesomeness of the contrast in comparison to the Sony. Click on the images for larger pictures.

Nice comparison shots Progeni.

Theres definitely a big difference in the contrast between the two. I guess that's one of it's biggest selling points along with the price.

Thanks for posting a comparison you me to look at. Even if the photos a bit pink as you say, it still allows us to see the difference between the two devices due to them both being captured together.
