RE: private forum access via kindle?

ok i can enter the main page of the site which is accessible to anyone.

there is a link for members to sign in, when clicked it takes you to username password page. however, when i click on the members page to enter my password i get the following message

Invalid Certificate

Web Browser is unable to establish a secure connection to the website.

Do you still want to proceed?

no yes

when i click on yes or no it just repeats the above message.

im hoping you can help me out because it would mean im really getting a lot of my kindle.

cheers
chris.

What I Read

RE: private forum access via kindle?

What this means is that the forum is using a secure connection (SSL) but that the forum is using an invalid certificate. Most browsers will allow you to ignore this and the site will still work, but because the Kindle browser is not a particularly capable one, it is falling over.

What I would suggest is that you contact the administrator of the forum in question and point out your problems to them. Hopefully they can get their SSL cert updated properly and it will then work.
