(I've been living in Italy for the last few years, and have only recently returned to the UK). She says it's brilliant and right up my street (based on my book preferences).

Do I need to buy a boxed set to watch the early ones, or can I jump straight in to series 7?
Hmmm, tricky one Rachel.

To really appreciate the action, you need to know the history. Unlike Corrie, or Emmerdale, or almost any other soap, what happened in previous series impacts what you see now.

I would certainly go for a box set of series 1, and see if you like it. If you don't, not much lost. If you do, then go for more. It may take you a little time to get to grips with Dexter and his 'dark passenger', but you will appreciate later series if you start from the beginning.

Please let us know what you think.

Thumbs Up

RE: Dexter

I really enjoyed the first two series of Dexter.

It's been downhill ever since.
My books are available for sale on Amazon and Smashwords.  You will also find them on Fenopy, H33t and Extreme Torrent.
